What is the date the hotel opened?

Originally built in the 1950’s. The Barry Brothers opened their doors to guests in 1958 where guests could enjoy a harbor side getaway at Baron’s Cove Inn. Last renovated in 2015. As of October 2025, the property is undergoing a $54 million renovation and will launch in May 2026 as Faraway Sag Harbor.

Is Wi-Fi Available?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available complimentary in all our public spaces and guest rooms.

Is The Hotel Wheelchair Accessible?

Can I Request For A Rollaway Bed To Be Placed In My Guest Room?

Unfortunately, rollaway beds are not available due to fire code restrictions.  Our team can help you explore additional room options for larger parties, based on availability.

Can A Pack-n-Play Or Crib Be Supplied In My Room If I Am Traveling With An Infant?

Yes, we have pack-n-play cribs available upon request. Please contact us by calling our team at (844) 227-6672.  You may also email us at hello@farawaysagharbor.com.  For these requests, we do require a minimum of 48 hours notice so we can best plan for your arrival.

Is Parking Available?

Parking is available onsite and complimentary for all guests.  Due to limited parking spaces, a maximum of one car per room is permitted.

Is Breakfast Included In My Room Rate?

Breakfast is not included in the room rate.  Guests are welcome to enjoy fresh complimentary coffee in our lobby every morning from 7:30am-11am or our full-service breakfast offering in our restaurant.

Can I Store My Luggage Before Check-In Or After Check-Out?

Yes, we will gladly store your luggage storage before check-in, or after check-out.

Where Should I Leave My Room Key(s) When I Check-Out?

When checking out, you may drop off your key(s) at the front desk or leave them in your room.

What Are The Front Desk Hours Of Operation?

During the summer season our Front Desk Team is available 24 hours a day.  In the off-seasons, our desk has limited hours.  Please check your pre-arrival messaging for current desk hours of operation.

Can I Request An Early Check-In Or Late Check-Out?

Early check-ins and late check-outs are based on availability and while we will do our best to accommodate it, they are not guaranteed.  If you would like to request an early check-in please contact our team at (844) 227-6672.  For late check-outs, please see one of our front desk team members. If you arrive before your room is ready, we will be happy to store your luggage so you can begin exploring town or enjoying our onsite amenities.

Check-in: Begins at 4:00 PM on your check-in date.

Check-out: By 11:00 AM on your check-out date.
